Entering the business world, it is tough to determine a specific field in which I want to direct my ideas. Knowing that I am a good manager of my surroundings, leads me to interest in the business management field. Combined with my entrepreneurial like mindset, I set out to find a business professional who could provide me crucial information from the world of business management and its correlation with writing. I interviewed Fred Unger, the president and CEO of Spring Creek Development, a real estate company in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. He graduated from USC with a degree in Business Management, has been in the real estate business for over 30 years, and described to me the importance of writing within the business management field. Business writing methods can affect how companies, institutions, governments and corporations all talk amongst each other and communicate information. For Fred as a business manager, these sorts of communications include formal invitations, letters, and emails. Examples of Fred’s work lye in the projects that the company completes. Recently, Spring Creek Development and Fred Unger formalized a large scale development project in downtown Scottsdale in which he personally had to write over 100 pages of documentation with regards to architecture design, purchasing statements, formal rent statements, and much more. Along with the over 100 pages that Fred wrote in regards to the project, he also had to present the project in the form of large scale presentations and at public speaking events. These added events are not successful without sharp and pristine writing skills which allow the business professional to stand out from the rest and
