When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for students to began an investigate for a choice of higher education; I have searched for schools that match my dedication to academics, align with my interest in application research, and have historic excellence in engineering. Like the writers of the declaration yearned for independence, I have developed a strong desire to contribute to an academia that in turn has the ability to fulfill my aspirations.

While in secondary school, after learning the fundamentals of physics, robotics, and engineering, I have developed a deep desire to participate in project based learning with investigative freedom. Therefore, in my future educational pursuits, I am searching for an opportunity to not only expand my previous knowledge, but also apply it to real world applications. The first time I was exposed to the research aspect of CMU was while researching driverless car technology for an essay assignment in College Composition class. It was astonishing to me how involved the CMU students were in the project and the autonomy they had for trying new solutions.
