What caused World War II and how was it fought? What are some of the results of the war? Through out the ages in history countries have been undergoing numerous wars that have shaped nations globally and made them the country they are in the present day. Obtaining the status of every nation in present day wasn’t very easy. The Allies which included Russia, France, Britain, Italy and the United States, as well as The Central Powers which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. Adolf Hitler was a formal German soldier who was a part of the first world war, not being happy with the outcome Hitler later created his own militia in hopes of one day achieving world domination this time “the right way”. Hitler began his road to world domination in the year of 1939 in Europe as he began to invade a series of countries such as Finland and many others, later in the year acquiring help from countries such as Japan and Italy. On September 27, 1940 Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany, Mussolini’s fascist Italy and the empire of japan signed a pact to dominate the world as the “Axis Powers”. Resulting from the Axis Powers attacking some of the countries whom were a part of the allies, The United States was obligated to cut supplies to Japan whom was a part of Franklin D Roosevelts Cash and Carry program. The Cash and Carry program was a program established by Franklin D Roosevelt in which the United States became an Arsenal of Democracy providing military aid to countries whom promised to pay it back eventually. Short after the United States cut supplies going to Japan, The Japanese Empire decided to retaliate against the United States with the historical event known as the bombing at Pearl Harbor, which was American naval base located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii destroyed by japan resulting in the loss of many soldiers and military
