Chapter Four
Analysis, Presentation of Data, Discussion and Findings
The main purpose of this chapter is to give description on the data collected by means of questionnaires, pre-test and post-test. In order to present analyzed data, the researcher uses graphs, pie charts and tables. The researcher’s intended for this research was to determine the impact on improving students’ performance in Science at the grade four level. The results for each research questions were stared at in an effort to discuss the major findings of the research.

However at the end of the study when the class teacher was asked if she believed Multiple Intelligence Theory has influenced her students’ performance in Science she said yes. This was evident because she was able to detect from the past papers questions she had been giving them as practice in preparation for the End of Year Examinations. Thirty three percent (33%) thought it is important since it will help them in their future career and the remaining twenty percent (20%) of the respondents did not give a reason why they thought it is important to learn Science. (Please see figure 4.3 on page.....). It is a clear indication that students understood that Science is the foundation on which they must build in order to be able to accurately grasp the concepts in the Science curriculum. Armstrong (2000) opined the theory using the Multiple Intelligence that there is a great diversity of ways in which students can show us their intelligence.
