Practicing is important because you will start to feel comfortable and relaxed. If you practice will only get better. Record involved recording your audio. Editing involved making changes to the screencast in order to improve it. Publishing allows your creation to be public and get viewed by others. Promoting gives your screencast publicity and lets others know about your creation.
