I often sit and contemplate, what would the world be like without the computers. Today, every facet of our life is around the computer; from the way we communicate; deal with business; govern a country; to even how we learn. It’s a fact that the computers and other devices associated with it are becoming more intuitive, as well as connected.
As you know the future is bright for network engineers with the invention of quantum computers a whole new network infrastructure is required for them to communicate. There are room for innovating new network device to route and switch quantum bit. I wish to be in the forefront of this era of computing. With the education from your university, I hope to gain a strong foundation on how the network works and implement them on my future masters and PhD research. For those reasons and many more I wish to undertake my chosen undergraduate program at your University.

My search of expanding my knowledge has led me to try and understand the theory and methodology on how computers operate. So, I began by studying BTEC level 2 diploma in IT, followed by BTEC level 3 subsidiary diploma in IT. I gained a greater understanding of how: computer system, networks, security and programming works through the course and the research I carried for my course work. I have learned procedural programming C# during my course, furthermore in my own time I have also learnt how to code in Java and XML to create Android applications. I believe to be a moderate problem solver, who has an admiration for mathematics and logical thinking; this all I’ve found when studying networking.
