It was springtime the sun was shining, and the flowers were blooming on this beautiful Friday afternoon. It was my eighth-grade year, I was in my English class, and it was the last period of the day when my teacher asked me to write her an essay explaining what I thought my life would be like in 10 years. In this essay, I described how I wanted to go to college and be a nuclear engineer. I had been inspired by my engineering teacher Mr. Moiso, and nuclear engineering at the time was the highest paying field of engineering. Leaving high school is the first big step or decision we make in our lives. You are always getting hit with these large questions "What are you going to do?" or "What do you want to do?" Honestly, for an ordinary senior this issue can be scary because most of us do not know what we want at this age, we want to get out and experience life, but we do not want to sit down and make those hard decisions right now. I chose Boise State University because I, not only, love our great state of Idaho and all the things we can do here but also because I enjoy my money as well. Boise State is the cheapest option for college while still getting a good education. Attending school in Boise will allow me to live in Meridian, Idaho but also balance my work at Idaho Motorcycle Specialties in Nampa. I will still have the down time to do the things I enjoy like skiing, hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, hunting, and camping.
Following my Highschool years, and attending college Boise State University I'll acquire my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Boise State University is the most reasonable option for me as far as schools go while having a good engineering program in a great community. After I obtain my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, I'll study for my Master's degree in Business Administration. With a background in both degrees, I will be able to pursue a multitude of different jobs in the workplace with ample opportunities to gain success in the business
