I’m very proud with my character I have shown. Outstanding character to me is being responsible, honest, and generous. As I feel happy helping others out with a subject they may struggle with. Now I don 't just apply my character at school, but also outside in the community. Personally I feel that it’s important to give back to communities.
My parents have guided me throughout my life with valuable life lessons. One moral in particular they have taught me is that I should enjoy what I value the most in life. At first, my foremost passion was my education, so I wanted to focus on my academics for life. There was just one problem: I would have been very inactive. Even though I do not have inherited talent in athletics, I knew I would maintain healthiness, have an improved mentality, and make many new friends with an active lifestyle.
Throughout my high school career, I was forced into many situations where I was challenged to connect with my peers and serve as a role model for future students. Whether it be my involvement in the school marching band, or helping students in community tutoring sessions, I have always made it my goal to better the people around me through my own efforts. Throughout my high school career, I have put forth my best effort to connect with my peers, transform individuals, and make a difference in my community. Joining the school marching band at the beginning of my freshman year of high school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Early in my life, I was always told that as the “man of the house”, it was my duty to look after my mother, my little brother, and my little sister. It was immediately following this honor, that caused me to be less dependent on other people for my overall well being. Having to grow up early has really helped me put into perspective how important being self sufficient is. It’s caused me to reprogram my mentality to predict and fulfill the needs of others who are dependent on me and put them first. So family and what they mean to me have a big influence in my life.
My long and short term goals had shaped my aspirations and who I am as a person today. My experiences are unforgettable and I will surely take all the observations and knowledge I had gained to create a happy and successful life for myself and
Twenty Years Circumscribed as my life is in so many ways, like any other individual, I rely on the news as my connection to the world that lay outside my own. This subject thus brings the domain of ignorance, that's because let me make it straight – I keep tabs on by browsing the net, changing channels or only following the Facebook pages that give the news which I prefer. Hence, let me build castles in the air. And by the time the reality had set in, I had built up the ideal world in sharp contrast to the actual world – ‘dream world'. The dream faded, and the irony is, the way of life which has been settled till my death is no longer in my power, since I had figured out that the restraints of the society bound us.
The Price to Live This Life In this day and age we are forced to go above and beyond to meet high requirements to live a satisfying, if not, decent life. With the increasing population, many people face financial hardships just to get by with day to day life. The cost of living is rising without the proper increase to minimum wage; people are struggling to get by trying support themselves or their families.
Motto: a sentence, phrase, or word inscribed on something as appropriate or indicative of its character or use (Merriam Webster Dictionary). Although the dictionary definition reigns true, a motto can have different meanings to those who encounter the word. For some, a motto could be a tiny catchphrase that they think of now and then that brightens their day, such as the light-hearted saying, “Just keep swimming,” from the popular film Finding Nemo. For others, a motto is the foundation that they build their lives upon, such as a work inspiring quote like, “Attempt the impossible in order to improve your work.” I like to believe that my motto lies somewhere between the delicate and the firm side of mottos, a saying that I can trace back to in times of struggle.
Happiness is one of the purest things we as people get to experience in this lifetime. Happiness, to me, is more than just a feeling. It is more of a way to look at life. The saddest people are those who look at life as something less than it is actually worth. I am typically happy just because I get to live another day.
The ethical framework that correlates most indefinitely within my life style is Dual Life Value. One of the main reasons that this ethical ideology fits so well with my beliefs, is because of its heavy belief of equality. Nobody's life is more significant than mine, and is no less significant than mine. We all deserve respect, understanding and dignity with the importance of our lives. This goes for my beliefs and views of prisoners and juvenile delinquents.
The Value of Life Looking back on my life and all the struggles I face on the daily, The Value of Life is learning how to get through certain situations that will make you a better person inside and out. Situations that’ll help you grow and be better, that’ll help you learn what the value of life really is. When you face difficulties, when you feel pain, when you lose a loved one, you learn to live past that situation which will make you a stronger individual that will give you a different aspect of life. Maya Angelou, an American Poet , quotes “When you learn, teach. When you get, give” (Angelou).
The two important values that I have learnt are the independence and the respect. I learnt these two values since my childhood. One of the values is the independence. Independence means that you can support yourself without owning or depending on yourself concerned with livelihood or studying. You can make decision of your life without being controlled by the others.
