Who Am I?
I am Lloana Padilla a full time student and employee. I am 22 years old and the youngest of all my siblings. I am from Houston, Texas born and raised. All my family is from Mexico. My mother came to USA when she was pregnant of me. I am one of the minorities in my family that have graduated from high school and is continuing their education. This is one of the reasons why I am continuing to go to college because I am going to be the first women in my family to graduate from a university and I want for this to continue in my family. I want to make my family proud and show them that it’s possible to get a college degree. For this year I have so many goals like travel, buy a new car, have a better health lifestyle, and the most important one to focus more in school. My main goal for this year is to succeed in all my classes. Another of my goals for this year is to obtain more knowledge about my business career. Something that defines me is persistence. I am currently employee in my family business which is a small cleaning company. At the beginning of school year I wanted to be a social worker but as I continue to work with my family in the business field I decided that maybe majoring in business would benefit my family’s company and make it succeed more. My brother is currently going to University of Houston and he is graduating on business management this year. He has been one of my biggest influence and look up to him a lot.
