Life consists of both variables and choices. Therefore, the roads we travel may lead us to different destinations. The journey of my life was full of questions started since I was 19. That was the time that I began asking myself what truly matters and what it means to have the right to choose my own path. I have always pictured myself to be a part of a community that offers the best education. As a result, I started to apply to universities in the United States. Luckily, I was accepted and encouraged myself to leave my home in South Korea and my family behind. College life was exciting but also scary at the same time. As I was heading towards the end of my college career studying biology, I realized that my field of study comes with full of mistakes. In cases of handling numbers of a report, based on my own designed experiments, I should not hesitate to commit mistakes and getting along with the different result. I had to embrace all the possibility that will conclude my outcomes which are a very important attitude for science majors. It requires patience and endurance with good decisions. In addition, to strengthen my quantitative reasoning and analytic skills, I desired to take statistics, trigonometry, and calculus courses. Increased longevity of life motivates health care communities for better understandings of the issues committed to health care today. Moreover, I’m interested in touching these following areas to plan and suggest innovative ways to address the problems: health care qualities and disparities among different population groups, limiting facilities and resources for elders and reforming care needs adapted to the 21st-century aging shift.

Speaking of health care disparities in terms of different groups, it deals with not just the people with low income but also immigrants and minorities struggling to become assimilated into American culture. It drives my passion also as an international student that I will be completely adept at reaching out to the diverse clients finding a decent line between the health care regulations and quality of service.

The US health care system is facing growth of communities distributed by race and I would like to join your program as the representative of my group. For my future career, I look forward to work with health care organizations having the challenge and opportunity to deliver high-quality health care. In the long run, I would like to train myself to be in the executive position to find new ways to cut costs, closing the gap in health care and providing the best affordable care
