“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
The day I realized this fact, my thirst to study and to contribute my best to the world I live had emerged in me. My schooling and college education played a pivotal role in shaping my future. My passion towards Biology was started from my school days. As a child, I was fascinated by flowers and its admirable characteristics, but it always had been a mystery for me. Actually, one fine day when I had a clear demonstration about the process of flowering of a plant in the biology class, I really got an in-depth idea about flowers and that helped me to get answers for many questions. It kindled my interest to learn more about the proteins and nucleic acids and thus made me to develop a special interest on cell and molecular biology. The striking love for science made me to choose Biotechnology as my college major. In college, I have volunteered to take part in Seminars and Symposia on the topic Transgenic plants and animals, rDNA technology and protein sequencing in and outside College ,and I have secured 8 out of 10 GPA in my undergraduate with a strong foundation and great exposure on various fields like Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology and environmental …show more content…

That appreciation gave me more energy and special interest do something accievable and to prove myself. So I decieded to continue my research in one of the most prominent and important field of science the cellular and molecular biology. My search has come to and end when I checked the current research going on in the field of cell and developemental biology department “Investigating host/pathogen interactions in the roundworm C. elegans” in your university. It was very much interesting and I feel I can do better in that, since its matching my desire.
Education is the power to think clearly, the power to act well in the world's work, and the power to appreciate life. I truly believe that the future is in the hands of present and I would like to dedicate my best in the present for the healthier and safer future, and to make a new revolution with the power science.
