Summer Heights High is a mockumentary show, directed by Chris Lilly. It was filmed in a Brighton Secondary College in Australia, aired on Australia’s ABC TV in September 2007. It’s played by three main characters over the course of a term: Jonah, Jamie and Mr. G. These characters are stereotyped to create funny content of themselves to encourage people not to behave that way. It labels the inappropriate content of words, used by a number of swearing and bullying that was nevertheless to make fun their behavior.
Common Core is the federal government’s largest attempt to establish nationwide educational standards for all students in all grade levels in the subjects of reading and math. Proponents of Common Core argue that the standards ensure that students are ready for college or career success upon high school graduation. The standards can also serve as a diagnostic tool to gauge the academic standing of individual students, schools and districts. Resources can be better allocated towards individuals and schools that may be underperforming. Progress can be measured by assessing the extent to which individuals and schools meet the standards.
Every year they continue to go down. Our education system has gone down with it. “The fact is, they claim that only a minority of American children, maybe 15 or 20 percent, have the intelligence to profit from a concentration of academic subjects in public school, that the other 80 or 85 percent must be provided with other kinds of programs.” This quote explains that our education system did not change for the better. It was discovered that in education there were certain areas that were universal and common among learning. The two main subjects of concern were English language arts and mathematics. Common core is the new curriculum implemented now in school systems to develop learning. Common Core Standards are a clear set of shared goals and expectations for the knowledge and skills students need in English language arts and mathematics at each grade level so they can be prepared to succeed in college, career, and life. Although, Common Core seems to be here to stay this article addresses concerns in reference to content, instruction, and assessment.

Illegal immigration is without a doubt one of the most attention needing problems the United States faces. The adversity devised from the jobs that illegal immigrants have apprehended from US citizens is formidable. President Trump has promised that he will reform the immigration laws and following his presidential campaign promise, building a large wall that separates Mexico and The United States. Building the wall reassures the population that we are indeed safe, we are a powerful country and there is no free ride in the land of hope and possibility.

An Introduction of the Topic No Child Left Behind is a wonderful idea on paper. Leveling the expectations for all of America’s youth will raise the level of education for all students, right? Unfortunately, the presumed outcomes hoped for by the government that implemented the law, are not presenting themselves as quickly as hoped. No Child Left Behind has been called an overly ambitious goal and one that will never meet its expected outcomes.

In my school we take several standardized tests that are supposed to measure how much knowledge I’ve retained throughout the year. These exams have changed the way that children are taught, and have made public schools int a limited learning environment.
In other words, Common Core is basically a waste of time for kids in grade school. More and more students are worried about getting the right answer the wrong way. A seven year old girl was "stressed about taking a mastery test. " At 7 years old a child for one shouldn't be stressed.
America has a problem: our education system is broken. America is the world leader in many industries, but for all that America has gotten right, it has certainly gotten education wrong. Students are not truly learning in America. They are learning to take state-issued tests. This leads to students being unprepared for the ever-changing world ahead of them.

However, all of this education reform has been a failure because our testing scores have not improved, the testing makes children suffer, and it doesn’t improve how teachers teach.
