LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan Nowadays, the question that looms over every NBA fan and analyst’s head is, “Who is the greatest of all time? LeBron James or Michael Jordan.” No matter what, they were both incredible athletes who could lead their team. There are many factors that influence this decision whether it be their raw stats or their championship rings. There is also the fact that the NBA is different now compared to the NBA that Jordan played in. With these and plenty other factors taken into consideration, LeBron James is the better overall player. This is true because of his team-player mentality, his ability to carry a team, and his raw physical and athletic capabilities. LeBron James will always be looked at as one of the greatest team players in the history of the NBA. Jordan cannot be called the same. Watching LeBron play, you see his pass-first mentality at work.
