Romeo and Juliet is a wonderful and dramatic play by an incredible writer like Shakespeare. This amazing and great play is all about two young children that fall in love with each other. One is Romeo from Montague and Juliet from Capulet. Montagues and Capulets are two well-known families with high reputation in Verona of Northern Italy. Those two families hate and fight each other more that you can imagine. I know this because in the first prologue it says:” Two households, both alike in dignity”. This quote mean that a long-standing hatred has been going on a lot of years between two families. Further on the word:” dignity” it means a respected person. As soon as Benvolio finished they saw Romeo coming. Lord Montague asks Benvolio to talk with him because he looks warried about something or someone as he says:” Could we but learn from whence his sorrows grow. We would as willingly give cure as know”. Benvolio agrees. Benvolio waits for Romeo and they have a conversation together. Romeo says to Benvolio that he has fallen in love with but she doesn't like him back and Romeo is depressed about that. Benvolio tries to make him forget about it but he can’t. Romeo also finds out about the fight and he gets really upset and angry because he also doesn’t want this fight. Romeo and Benvolio are two characters that think that they should keep peace and not fight Capulets anymore because that will bring a quiet peace instead of that dirty fight. On the other part of house, we have Lady Capulet, Juliet and the Nurse. Lady Capulet wants to meet Juliet immediately for something important and Nurse finds and brings Juliet at her mother’s room. Nurse firstly starts to mess around but then calm down as she sees that Lady Capulet is getting angry. They speak for about Juliet to get married as now for her is the time to get married. Nurse also says that is time to get married as she says:” If I live to see you get married someday, all my wishes will come true”. Juliet says that she will try to see if she loves him (at the party) but nothing is sure. I know this because it says:” The valiant Paris seeks you for his love”. This quote mean that Count Paris wants to marry Juliet. Further on the word:” seeks” it means wants. So this mean that Paris wants Juliet as her wife. Shakespeare in the conversation uses lots of adjectives:” beautify”, similies’:” Why, he’s a man of wax” etc. Shakespeare here tries to show that in his time children married at a very young age. In Shakespeare’s time also the children married at really young age like 13-14 or up but on our time
