Many students want to go home and please their parents with a good test score. It makes them feel accepted. To a child, their parents being proud of them is the best thing that they could receive. But in middle school, many students are failing those tests, getting bad grades. The only difference between elementary school and middle school is more individual topics and recess.
A lot of stuff happened in eighth grade, some good, some bad. For one good thing, every time at the end of quarter, we would do nothing and just play games, eat pizza, and watch movies. All the bad things I can think about is just the bad grades I get on test sometimes like that. So the goods outweigh the bads.
Elementary school was a place where I thought I could be me without any problems. Younger me was a bright, colorful and cheerful child. I enjoyed drawing, wearing vibrant colors, and making outfits for myself. But I also enjoyed singing so I joined the choir. That was my dream, to become a singer.
Middle school was extremely ardous for me . I constantly had to write essays every single night because we read one novel every week. It seemed like I could never have a break from writing. The sheer amount of homework was nerve-wracking because I never expected this much homework. I remember expressing some of my my thoughts in my journal such as how hard writing essays was and how challenging my math tests were.
As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.
Both High Schools and Middle school are tailored towards giving their students the knowledge that they need to learn. The physical environments, as well as the organizational routines, tends to be very similar, yet the feeling and psychological backdrop differs. A middle school is more of an older child's playground while junior high school is a simulation of the real world. Middle schools tend to be student oriented while junior high schools are subject

Everything in life is a two way street. Good and bad. Right or wrong. Going to a new place to see or going to your local favorite spot. School versus school.
Seventy percent of sixth graders get bullied because it is their first year of middle school. Most sixth-grade students are often bullied because of their age and grade. When you are in middle school, you get better privileges than in elementary school. You get better privileges because you are getting older and growing up. Most sixth graders are anxious about being in a new and bigger school.
Once students go to Middle School, everyone’s always stuck in a compact, sweaty classroom, with a lunch in between, and then back into a classroom. Some people may think that we don’t need a break during the day, but how are students supposed to get all of their energy out? One way is to have a break. If we go outside in between a class, it will help with a student’s concentration.
Middle School wasn’t all popularity and body odor. Sometimes things could almost be fun. For instance, I remember a student teaching our algebra class. I remember how I used to run cross country, and how in 8th grade the 6th graders used to think we were so cool -- and so did we. Then when we graduated, reality hit and we realized we weren’t.
No one can honestly say that they enjoyed middle school. I know that I can’t. Unfortunately, as young teenagers, we are impressionable, and whatever habits and traits that we pick up in middle school can alter the course of our lives. Look at me, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis the summer before eighth grade and now my life has been changed forever. If I’m being completely honest, middle school helped me become the person I am today.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
Why the school system is bad - Arshia Education is very important for everyone and it will only get more important. Schooling is just plain bad. It used to serve a purpose, like the heart in a person 's body, but now it is basically just boring students more and more. Nowadays at the end of the day, we all just want to go home.
Kindergarten to 8th grade I attended a private school called Holy Family Catholic School. The school was very small along with classes, teachers extremely strict and hallways always quiet, the totally opposite from Dr. Henry A. Wise. My first day of high school I was very nervous I was not used to big classes, endless amount of students in the halls and the loud ruckus. This was an educational challenge for me because it was a totally different learning environment for me that i had to get used to quickly. My studying habits also challenged me through high school because test and quizzes were given out frequently and if you didn't know how to study you probably wouldn’t get a good grade.
