I am writing to express my interest in joining Cohen & Steers as a Compliance Summer Associate. As an undergraduate with excellent organization, professional presenting and communication, and project management skills, as well as who enjoys working in a team, I believe I am an excellent fit for this position. Whether a patron asks for a simple direction to a book aisle, or needs professional academic assistance, I learned to patiently listen to their requests, simple or complex, and zealously assist them professionally with all the resources available. I also assisted patrons by replying to their emails and responding to their phone calls. When not interacting with patrons, I was also in charge of organizing library materials, such as books, newspapers, and administrative files. With the help of senior members of the team, I was able to organize those files to be found in a more efficient way. Often times, patron’s requests came up when I was working on other tasks. I learned to prioritize and stay on top of multiple projects while maximizing my service as a Student Worker. Working alongside with a team of enthusiastic individuals has taught me to always have a positive attitude and to be passionate about every aspect of the job.
