As a dedicated and ethical professional, I have 28 years of administrative experience. I’ve had the opportunity to work at Wake Tech for 15 years and counting, serving in 3 different departments. Before accepting a position as an Administrative Assistant in the Career and Employment Resources Office in 2014, I also worked as the Administrative Assistant in the Computer Technology Division and Registrar’s Office.
During my studies at Wake Tech, I successfully graduated with an Associates in General Education, where I have taken Human Resource Management, Office Software Applications, and a variety of other administration courses that has helped me build effective time and project management, leadership, and ways to handle working under stressful environments.
The opportunities that I’ve had with providing administrative support and helping staff and students with day-to-day inquires and department workflow have taught me how to reach and connect with others in various situations. Over the course of my professional experience with Wake Tech, I have learned the value and importance of communication, planning, and organization.
