I am dedicated, persistent, trustworthy, blunt, and honest as can be. I not only attend high school, but attend Cowley County Community College (CCCC). I attend Cowley to further my knowledge in automotive so that I can be prepared for a job. I am fascinated by the automotive industry and hope to concentrate on diesel technology as well as performance automotive. Working on cars is my biggest hobby, both money and time wise.
Immediately after graduating from Riverdale High School in 2009, I started my undergraduate career at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Upon entrance to MTSU, I believed that my career path was in the field of pharmacy. I envisioned graduating from MTSU after only four years and would be directly on to pharmacy school thereafter. Towards the middle of the first semester, I quickly realized that this would not be the career path for me. I cut back on my course load and worked diligently to finish the semester.
On October 20, 1998, I was born in Flagstaff, Arizona to my mom, Sherryl, and my dad, Jack. When I was about two or three, my family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where we have resided ever since. I am the middle child of three girls. My older sister, Holly, is twenty-one years old, studies national security at Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio, and is in the Air Force. My younger sister, Keely, is fifteen years old, and she is a fantastic artist.
Before furthering my education here at San Jose State University, I wasn’t sure what my interest and career path I wanted. Although I did always want to go into the law enforcement field, I was never sure exactly what I wanted to include myself in that field. As I began my career here at SJSU I developed an interest in the criminal justice system, more specifically in the field of law. I followed my interest and join clubs such as the Pre-Law Society club here at SJSU. Through this club I got the opportunity to meet and sit in panels on law students including Alan Adkisson.
I am interested in MTSU because of the dynamic opportunities offered to students, and its well known reputation for high academic standards. I aspire to continue my education by attending MTSU and take part in one of the many internship programs provided to students. I would like to utilize this aspect to enhance my overall learning experience as well as implement my skills. The diversity of programs and majors offered have opened my mind to multiple opportunities for furthering my education. As a high school senior, my involvement in school has helped me establish strong relations with both the student body and faculty.
There are many things at Ole Miss that I want to experience while attending Ole Miss. My main goal is to exceed in my studies of the mind, understand my profession to its maximum and to broaden my perscpetive on the human mind. I want to do all three of those the most because I see these options as the most potential choice to help me understand my major. Rather than just understanding the mind I want to be able to understand and see it differently than I ever have before.
The majority of my life has been spent placing critical life events and accomplishments onto a timeline. For instance, it has been twenty-one years since I first wrapped my teddy bears in bandages and diagnosed their illnesses. It has been eleven years since I decided to become a nurse. It has been seven years since I was first admitted to Texas A&M University and struggled with the pressures of doing well in college while balancing a personal and family life. It has been almost three years since I last stepped foot on Texas A&M soil.
I was fortunate to grow up in a city where diversity and culture are celebrated, New York City. Home of, one of the biggest fashion capitals on the earth, New York City promotes cultural expression through style, food, and social mobility. Although, it is known as a place of free expression and cultural diversity, in my early adolescent years I’ve witnessed many peers, fall victim to close mindedness. I was a target of bullying due to the dark pigmentation of my skin. The treatment I received by my classmates made me feel inferior, discouraged, and I often questioned if being black was beautiful.

After many weeks of going back and forth between them and discussing with my family and counselor, I finally came to the conclusion that I wanted to major in business. My father is a successful owner of two businesses and my mother started her own business recently, which definitely inspired me to want to start a business of my own in the future. Choosing W.P. Carey School of Business was an easy decision because it is one of the largest business schools in the country and ranked #1 in innovation. My major is
TTU has a large variety of majors, one of the most popular being kinesiology, which I am planning on majoring in. Why do I choose to attend Texas Tech University? Texas Tech is where I will build my future because not only does it offer an excellent physical therapy program, but also when I step onto the campus, I feel that I belong. I have always been one who
I believe as a returning student to ISU, I had a unique experience in the class. I graduated with a degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services in May and decided that teaching was my true passion so I returned to Iowa State to begin earning that degree. I have worked for about four years for United Community Schools as a Lead Childcare Associate and as a Substitute Associate in both preschool and special education. Additionally, I have spent time as a Special Education Associate in Ankeny and have volunteered in Ames Community School District Classrooms. With my experience, I have spent a lot of time in schools and in classrooms.
I have always been involved beyond the classroom with the schools I attend. I attended King Kekaulike High School in Maui. My freshman year, I was an active member in Interact club, a local service club. I was also on the junior varsity volleyball team and the girls varsity soccer team. I was the team captain for the girls varsity soccer team at KKHS both my junior and senior year.
COMMON APP [707] Graduating from high school, I knew I wanted to attend a university that had a strong computer science program, a culture of entrepreneurship, and students who were happy. In many ways, my time at USC has largely satisfied these criteria and taught me a lot about what I want out of my undergraduate experience. However, it has also spurred intellectual development and changed my academic plans, leading me to believe that transferring schools will help me fully achieve my goals.
At USC, I plan to pursue a major in business economics. USC is the right school for me to pursue business economic because USC’s optimal location is within downtown Los Angeles, which can give me access to internships with the nation’s top corporations. The Marshall School of Business will promote the necessary leadership skills for training in negotiations and ethical decision making to succeed in business because the curriculum allows undergraduates to achieve knowledge and skills for a successful performance in a complex environment. The school also has an exceptional amount of departments, but in particular, the Finance and Business Economic at Marshall encourages students’ learning abilities and guides them through understanding the types of markets and how to effectively manage different types of enterprises.
