Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) has influenced me in many ways. First, it was the school's amazing nursing program. The school of nursing was established in 1953 and it awards undergraduates the bachelor of science degree. WSSU’s nursing program was ranked number 3 in the nation, and is continuing to grow and enhance the program. I have been given the chance to get into the nursing program, with the help from the Guaranteed Admission Program (GAP).
I am most attracted to Loma Linda University’s mission to make man whole and continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and its commitment to faith and science. As a Seventh-day Adventist christian, the motto to make man whole has never been more personal than it is now. As I grow in my experience as a christian, to further the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus continues to take center stage. This mission and an understanding of the need for whole person care is something I seek to demonstrate and encourage through my profession as a nurse and involvement in my community.
Immediately after graduating from Riverdale High School in 2009, I started my undergraduate career at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Upon entrance to MTSU, I believed that my career path was in the field of pharmacy. I envisioned graduating from MTSU after only four years and would be directly on to pharmacy school thereafter. Towards the middle of the first semester, I quickly realized that this would not be the career path for me. I cut back on my course load and worked diligently to finish the semester.
Before furthering my education here at San Jose State University, I wasn’t sure what my interest and career path I wanted. Although I did always want to go into the law enforcement field, I was never sure exactly what I wanted to include myself in that field. As I began my career here at SJSU I developed an interest in the criminal justice system, more specifically in the field of law. I followed my interest and join clubs such as the Pre-Law Society club here at SJSU. Through this club I got the opportunity to meet and sit in panels on law students including Alan Adkisson.
There are many things at Ole Miss that I want to experience while attending Ole Miss. My main goal is to exceed in my studies of the mind, understand my profession to its maximum and to broaden my perscpetive on the human mind. I want to do all three of those the most because I see these options as the most potential choice to help me understand my major. Rather than just understanding the mind I want to be able to understand and see it differently than I ever have before.
Growing up on a small cattle operation in central Oklahoma, my parents quickly instilled in me a love for the agricultural way of life, and that passion is what led me to become the 13th person in my family to attend Oklahoma State University. While my background and experiences are not very unique when compared to many of my great friends and classmates at OSU, my upbringing served as a motivation to excel and succeed in all of my endeavors and pursue a career in agricultural law. Coming from a small school, I had very limited opportunities to involve myself in extracurricular activities. Naturally, I felt like a kid in a candy shop when I first stepped onto campus and applied to be in many organizations throughout my first year. I strived
My job as a patient care technician allowed me to care for numerous individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Through this experience, I came to the realization that I loved people. I loved hearing their stories and the secret hopes and fears they would share with me in the dead of the night. I realized that I wanted to have a career where I could not only help people, but learn from them as well. I believe a career in the healthcare field would allow me to do this.
The majority of my life has been spent placing critical life events and accomplishments onto a timeline. For instance, it has been twenty-one years since I first wrapped my teddy bears in bandages and diagnosed their illnesses. It has been eleven years since I decided to become a nurse. It has been seven years since I was first admitted to Texas A&M University and struggled with the pressures of doing well in college while balancing a personal and family life. It has been almost three years since I last stepped foot on Texas A&M soil.
Making me more human, fervent and enthusiastic about helping others. In addition to that, during my internship at the YWCA, three positions opened-up and it was a pleasure for me to be asked for applying for any of them, with a high possibility of getting hired. However, thinking in my career and educational goals and on the benefits UTEP has offered me as a student and employee, and loyal to my UTEP family I refused the offer. I stayed working at the university as a work-study and later accepted an offer for a new position. After deciding to stay at UTEP and taking advantage of the benefits as an employee and following my goals I am now applying to graduate school to pursue a Master of Business Administration while working at the Department of Criminal

I am Keely Britton and I am enrolled in the Auburn University Adult Education, School of Educational Foundations Leadership and Technology (EFLT) doctoral program. I am writing as a result of speaking extensively with Dr. Gary Waters concerning an assistantship in the athletics department. I am available right away and feel that there exists a perfect fit due to my work experiences, current extracurricular involvement, and personal participation in a comprehensive enhancement program. While on faculty at Florida A&M University I trained approximately fifty graduate students who in turn instructed approximately three hundred seventy-five freshmen in the art of developing mind power by using advanced memory systems and techniques. However, superior speed-reading and comprehension skills buttressed memory training, therefore speed-reading and comprehension training preceded memory training.
My academic interest at USC is to pursue a path down the business administration field, to grow my knowledge and to understand how to apply concepts taught in class into the real world. I believe that the Marshall School of Business is one of the best places in the country where I can learn and grasp the intricate structure of business administration, particularly in entrepreneurship. My goal in life is to one day own a business starting from the foundation working up to however vastly it may grow. With one of the best entrepreneurship programs in the nation, Marshall goes far beyond the average business curriculum, which is what I’m yearning for. At USC I intended to pursue internships with companies that can provide insight of how businesses
Throughout my years in school, science and computer tech have always been up my alley. However, despite understanding my tastes in knowledge, my goals and direction were not as clear. Not only was I entranced by the idea of empirical science, but also by the qualitative distinctions in music and philosophy. Nevertheless, although I have an affinity for playing trumpet and coming up with morals, I feel that natural sciences is the best academic culture that can fit me, due to the fact that I like problem solving, research, and critical thinking.
There are many things that I’m looking forward to in this next year. This includes my academic interests, career objective, and some SDSU activities. My academic interests would be to go into either Interior Design or Animal Science. I haven’t fully decided which one I will go into, but I know that SDSU will be able to help me narrow this down. I’ve chosen these two careers because they seemed interesting to me.
1 Metropolitan State University is where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and where I plan to continue my education in the Doctor of Business Administration program. The thought of “returning home” to bring my educational journey full circle brings joy to my heart. Every time I read the Program Overview or Curriculum for the Doctor of Business Administration program I get excited, my heart starts to race, and my mind goes off to a future classroom where I will be soaking up the knowledge of professors and mentors. When I think about teaching and writing research papers I get all giddy and a huge smile comes to my face. I feel I have found my path through the career woods that has guided me to the field of academia.
