There are many things that I’m looking forward to in this next year. This includes my academic interests, career objective, and some SDSU activities. My academic interests would be to go into either Interior Design or Animal Science. I haven’t fully decided which one I will go into, but I know that SDSU will be able to help me narrow this down. I’ve chosen these two careers because they seemed interesting to me. I’ve always liked watching the shows on DIY like Zombie House or Property Brothers. Whenever I watch these shows, I have this feeling that I could become a designer and style beautiful homes. I chose Animal Science because of my Ag teacher. I took this class without knowing what I would get into. During the first few weeks, I started to notice that I liked learning new things about animals. A good workplace is one of my top objectives because I need to have a nice, quiet workplace. Another objective would be excellent co-workers because having co-workers will help me focus more on my work. They would be able to help me figure out solutions to a problem that I’m having troubles with. Some other objectives would be acquired benefits, clean environment, and reasonable hours. The acquired benefits is a big objective for me because I’d like to have benefits that keep growing over time. It would also help me work harder to achieve these benefits. A clean environment will help me focus better on my job and I won’t get distracted as easily. My work performance will be better because I won’t have to deal with different diseases and germs. I would like reasonable hours because I’d be able to achieve more at work with these hours.
