Ever since I was growing up while in my primary levels, my dream has been to study at Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech is one of the leading universities in the Virginia state, across the country and beyond which has produced great professionals; prominent leaders, great administrators among other icons. The institution which is a well-respected, recognized and highly reputable is rich in research facilities and the required capacity in terms of competent professionals to guide through any research work. Throughout my study and all along I have been tailoring my courses to meet the requirements of Virginia Tech. I pursued an Associate Degree Program in Business Administration at North Virginia Community College which I completed in Fall 2017. Virginia Tech and NVCC (Northern Virginia Community College) have a Guaranteed Admission Agreement, one of the aspect that gives me an upper hand in my dream to join Virginia Tech as an institution of higher learning. A service is simply an act of helping others. Service to others is an important aspect that gives me a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. Service to others leads to the discovery of abundance; the radical shift from “me” to “we”. It’s essential to recognize that when one serves others, community or the society at large, they uncover the full range of resources such as time, attention and recognition at their disposal and learn that the ability to give comes from the state of mind and heart, a point deeper than the material things.
