Creationism vs. Evolution: the Unending Dispute

Bataan Peninsula State University Abstract
This paper was done to explain the unending dispute between the creationists and the evolutionists. Also, I am looking forward to explain the following: (1). Where does the truth tends toward? (2). The reason why there are this so called “unending” dispute; and (3).Would this end soon?

Same as those of the evolutionists' and creationists', no one admit they were wrong all along, no one would accept the fact that their opponent would be correct. They would fight for what they believe until their opponent gives up (which in this case, not yet happening) and be accepted …show more content…

Many people around the world believe in the existence of God and that He created every living things on earth including man. They believe that He created us with dust and that He gave us the breath of life. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, like us” – Genesis 1:26. “And God made man in his image, in the image of God he made him: male and female he made them. And God gave them his blessing and said to them,” - Genesis 1:27-28. Nevertheless, there are also these people who don’t believe that man existed because of God’s creation, what they think is that, man started from animals (specifically primates) then eventually evolved through time. Because of these beliefs, the dispute began and until now, still exists.
Creationism vs. Evolution – The Beginning of the Battle
Strictly speaking, creationism is based on a literal reading of the Bible’s Book of Genesis, which states the creation of everything including human being in a span of six days. Evolutionists on the other hand, (though there is still this so called “missing link”) is proving that what they fight for and believe is true.
