“With liberty and justice for all” may be the most important concept from The Pledge of Allegiance. What freedom means to me? It means a great deal. Having freedom means that people are not being restricted, and citizens have many privileges. Freedom can mean many things to different people.
Freedom is the ability to love whomever we want, It is when you give without expecting a favor, It is the power to forgive when you've been mistaken, it is the capability to do right without being proud of it. Freedom is being able to pick a leader for your country who you feel is right and will do what is right for you and for all of us. It also means to be able to live the same as everyone else, freely, no matter the color or your race we are all equal. Freedom is not something that should be taken advantage of, using a gun is alright for protection, but when it's used for the wrong actions it is not correct. You have to respect all that is given to you and use what you have for good and not evil.

Some people may believe that freedom is being able to be rude to innocent people or being able to call others slurs or make offensive comments all while hiding behind the phrase “But it’s a free country.” But what freedom actually is, to me at least, is the gift to do whatever you want to do as long as it’s not hurting anyone else. It’s being able to love who you want, express yourself however you desire to, use whatever pronouns makes you feel better, and practice whatever religion you feel most connected to, as long as you’re not harming yourself or others.
