Respect requires a full time ongoing basis regardless if you’re home, at school, or walking down the street. Respect is a word that has a lot of depth to it no matter what way you use it. The word by definition is kind of hard to pin down concretely because it is subjective, and it can be used in many different ways with many different meanings based on the usage. All definitions aside, the respect that most people want is the respect that is earned by the showing of honorable actions or personality characteristics. The America I believe in is where everyone is to be respected, no matter of their religion or race. Before this country was even founded we have stood by one another through many tragic events in history. We’ve gone through many wars and even a war against ourselves. Heck, we almost had a nuclear war! The one thing that matters is that we all have gotten through it all together.
In order to communicate effectively, respect must be established. Carrying two distinctive connotations, respect signifies deep admiration as a result of abilities, qualities or achievements. It too, shows consideration for one’s moralities (Giesinger, 2012). In response to education, the principle of respect promotes the foundation of a culturally inclusive environment. Thus, the logo exemplified above illustrates the importance of respect within the professional teacher identity.
The belief of respect is important that managers, supervisors, employees at the organization also reflect organization’s culture and manner. I realized that respect others is an effective way to improve my own quality and it requires me to respect others’ achievement and custom.
