Child abuse and neglect isn’t a joke, we can’t just keep letting it happening without doing something. It will bring trauma into the child’s life which can lead to the child not forgetting that and growing up with a hard life. One way to help the person is by writing so that they can express their feelings and get them out without people actually knowing. In the book “Don’t You Dare Read This, Mrs. Dunphrey” Tish’s mom leaves her and her brother with no money and no warning. During the time of her mom is gone she has to face some really big obstacles. One way that she finds peace with herself is by writing. When she is writing those entries she feels like she is telling someone and is getting the secret off her back without actually telling anybody. She is writing about her life because she has to do the entries do get a passing grade in school, she can’t tell her friends because she is afraid that they are going to tell someone, and because she can’t tell a teacher or she is going to be split up with her brother. …show more content…

Someone who experience abuse or neglect at a young age can act like that to their kids if they want to or not. It can make someone’s life hard because they could act different and the good jobs don’t want those actions won’t accept them. If they are at school that is one way to make their child a bully, they could care less about school, they could let their grades slip, or they could not do their homework and distract other kids from what they are suppose to be doing. If teachers made their students write journals it could help with some of those
