Part A
Education has always sparked my interest. I’ve always had some part of me that wanted to teach, but I never felt I was capable to do so. I felt I wasn’t smart enough, but I slowly found out as my schooling career went on, that teachers are there to guide you and learn on the way. I’ve always enjoyed learning new information, about culture and science. Understanding this fascinating world we live in, allows us to fully understand the reason we are here, and through education I would be able to guide the future generations, to fully understand what this world has to offer for them.

Throughout my junior schooling career I was receiving high grades, this later dropped in secondary, but I was enrolled in an advanced magna program, between years 8 to 10. My motivation to succeed in my schooling, led me to apply every year, and earn above average grades. In grade 12 I chose to follow the OP pathway doing classes like Graphics, Biology, Physics, Film TV and New media, English and Math B. I’ve struggled every term with the work load, but overcame it, earning mainly B’s and A’s in my subject. Multiple times I thought of dropping subjects, but my fear of failure gave me the ability to overcome it. In regards to leadership, my only position was in grade 7 when I went for school captain, failed and turned to a prefect. I was able to understand the tasks that a primary school teacher, underwent and what an educators work load felt like. Although, what they were teaching weren’t particularly my style, it made me want to turn to secondary education. Other than that I have been employed at KFC for 3 years now, being trained in both Customer Service and Food Preparation. This gave me the opportunity to learn, and expand my knowledge on the work place, and working with a consumer or others. I don’t have much voluntary work, due to time constraints and other commitments. The closes to community experience would be playing sports between the ages of 11-14.
