I believe that education is vital to success. Each child is unique and needs a stimulating environment that allows them to meet their fullest potential. As a teacher I hope to be a major influence in my students life. I want them to have curiosity and always ask questions while I promote respect for all people. The purpose of school is to educate the future generation and to teach them the skills and knowledge to help them create sustainability in society. It is not only the teacher’s job to provide knowledge but to also allow the students to construct knowledge for themselves. I think that a proper education is one of the best ways to succeed. I also have a love for history. Without knowing about the past one cannot be able to know how to change the present and future. History gives us an insight on what not to do and what works. In this day and age we have so many resources at our fingertips that make the classroom even more special. Technology is advancing in many ways. I am in an age group that has had technological advances that my parents did not have growing up. I am a tech savvy person myself and want to incorporate this into my classroom. I can use to ask question, generate feedback and even use multimedia in my lessons. Yelling does not help either. I think if you let kids know that in the end the only one they are hurting is themselves maybe they will get it. Acting out in class just disrupts the learning flow and gets you in trouble and less time to learn the material. Sending students out of the classroom does not help either. Most of them want that anyway. If need be pull them aside and see what the problem is and relay to them why they need your class and an education in general. There are so many issues when is comes to diversity and socioeconomic status. With some students I can relate, but with others I cannot, but I will try my best to. Classrooms are melting pots. I as a teacher I must respect my students backgrounds and teach my class to do the same. We are all different and believe in different things. However, my students will respect each other and myself. If you let your students know that you care they will care about the subject and be more willing to seek help. I am young, when I graduate I will be seeking a high school job at the age of 21. My students will obviously see that I am young, in many ways I am relatable because we are not far from age. However, I am an authority figure, I am their teacher not their friend. This has to be known so no bounds are crossed. I still want them to come to me for problems whether it be at home or in school. I believe simply,
