Edwin Hubble was a scientist and an astronomer that discovered many ideas in his time. Hubble’s research has proved that the universe is expanding and provides proof that has brought more knowledge. His love and compassion for astronomy brought him to where is he now. He has accomplished many goals and especially his scientific discovery of the galaxy. We all admire Edwin Hubble’s work which has gave us an inspiration to become a sensantial person like him. Being the scientist of the month, the main topics that should acknowledged are education, family, achievements in science, and contributions to society. Edwin proved that the other galaxies existed outside of the Milky Way and was shown through the observatory's Hooker telescope. According to Edwin’s research, he says that he saw a spiral of lights which was called Andromeda Nebula. As far from that, he questioned some parts of the topic and wanted to learn more about the galaxies so he partnered up with another astronomer named Milton Humason. In 1929, they shared their research to the public and explain that the galaxies are moving away from each other because the galaxy’s redshift is twice the size when it is twice the distance from the galaxy. Not to mention, Hubble also published his own original book in 1936 called “The Realm of the Nebulae” that shows the process of extragalactic astronomy. As a matter of fact Edwin announced a piece explaining his research in the field of extragalactic astronomy. Additionally, Hubble created a classification system to justify his theory about the galaxies also known as the “Hubble sequence”.
