On 3/29/2016 I spoke with Leahanne Garcia at the operation. Leahanne stated she has been employed at the operation since May 2015 as a Teacher assistant. Leahanne stated on Wednesday (3/23) that the children had just woken up from nap and Andi was leading circle time, while she was moving the block center shelf back to its position. She stated the children had started to get up from the rug for center time when she heard Andi yelling "get up, get up" and was yanking Isiah up by his arm. Andi then started telling him "you will listen to me" while pointing a finger in his face.
An announced inspection was conducted 10/20/2105. Ora Melissa Brown was found to be in charge at arrival. The purpose of the inspection and the subchapters that would be evaluated were explained to Ms. Brown.
Ransby wrote about the complexity of Ella Baker's life. Ransby stated: "for me, in looking back as Baker's life in all of its rich complexity" (Ransby, Pg). In the writing the biography, Ransby brought to life a person in her writing. Her argument centered on the idea of complexity. The complexity of Baker's life leads to the importance of her legacy.
She is able to show initiative when given a specific task and makes sure that her fellow peers are on track while making sure everyone in her group feels valued as well as included. She is also especially mature
She is very organized at school, and considers it a very important skill to her success. She is always on top of her work, and hates the stressful feeling she gets when she starts to fall behind a little. She is always striving to improve herself, and has improved considerably through her years in high school. For example, she has also tried to become more involved in her classes by participating more and staying involved in class discussions, but it is still a trait she is trying to better herself in. One skill she has always stood out in is her hard work.
Behavior observations: Mrs. Cheryl Littleton was a well-dressed married, African-American female who arrived to interview and testing in a timely manner. She presented herself in a forthright manner with no observable indication of misrepresenting her history or psychological complaints. Mild minimization of emotional issues was noted. Mrs. Littleton was oriented and alert. Her speech was clear and logical and goal directed.
Madeline response to Jill, I agree it is important to follow each section to have a clear idea of the objective we must meet to reach the target instructional goal. Because an objective is the foundation upon which to build the lesson and assessments that prove the overall course outcome. Stating a clear objective is important because they give you a solid foundation for designing relevant instructional materials. When you develop a learning object, a lesson or a learning activity, you have to define what you want the students to learn and how you will know that they learned. Instructional objectives, also called behavioral objectives or learning objectives are a requirement for high-quality development of instruction.
When I observed “Jimmy”, he was in classroom D at the child-development center at Yuba college. At first there were over ten children but by the end of my observation there were only five including Jimmy. There was three teachers present, all female. None of Jimmy's family was present and he was waiting for his mother to pick him up. Jimmy may have been the perfect candidate for my observation as he was the only child who did not attempt to interact with me.
Ancient Greeks looked at different things through different points of view. They looked at weather and decided it was from the gods, but late came to a conclusion that it was naturally happening. Greeks were the first to develop the theory that supernatural explaniations are not the only way to have the world explained. They also developed that babies are helpless on their own, so we must have evolved. We have been impacted by these discoverirs because we know that there are ways to explain things such as weather and evolution.
With her genuine concern for others, Emily Starkweather is not your typical high school senior. A personable and caring student, Emily has proven herself academically while maintaining a steady focus on her future. What stands out most about Emily is how gracefully she has blossomed into a highly mature and focused individual, one who is sure of her future goals and is determined to achieve them. Despite not having a smooth elementary school career, Emily worked to perform well in school, and kept an incredibly positive attitude towards school.
Erin has many personal qualities that make up for her lack of an education that help her to eventually succeed. Of which include determination, great emotion, beauty and the fact that she speaks her mind with no filter. She shows massive amounts of determination throughout the film including the scene where she is talking to Ed Masry about getting a job. “Now, I 'm smart, I 'm hard-working, and I 'll do anything, and I 'm not leaving here without a job.

Anaia is a 4 year old girl with baby blue eyes, and light blonde hair that is thin and cut short. She has her hair in a messy ponytail. Anaia is about the same height or a little shorter than the other students in her class. The location of this observation is in the purple room at the Child Development Center. There is a variety of objects in this location such as: books, toys, blankets, snacks, and much more.
Emma is one of those girls who is very popular at school and cares about her friends and family, but doesn’t care about much else. She is a really nice sister, but she can get to be a pain sometimes. Emma is actually a decent student though, no matter what people think about the “popular group” of kids at school, Emma is part of them and still a good student. She normally gets Bs and B+s for grades, and listens and learns when necessary. Did I mention that she can be a pain?
Classroom Observations Mrs. Canada is the first grade teacher that I observed, and the subject that she was teaching was reading. She had planned well-organized power points and crafting materials in advance, so she was prepared for the lesson. The two times I observed, the lesson that was being taught at both times was reading. Children in the classroom used a lot of previous knowledge for the lesson.
