I am Elodie Tendoh, born on May 5th 1989 as a first child to Mr. and Mrs. Abrow. I graduated from High School in June of 2006 and got admitted into the Higher Teachers Training College in Bambili, Cameroon. After three years of professional training I graduated as a High School biology teacher. Teaching was a second choice for me as I always wanted to be a pharmacist but did not have an opportunity to pursue my dreams due to financial constraints. Being blessed with an opportunity to come to America in 2012 was a golden opportunity for me to plan to pursue my first dream of becoming a Pharmacist. Being a very reliable person, I was later trained to become an IV Technician, I was also assigned to take care of returned medications, processing credits and refunds. My desire for more experience and exposure landed me a job at Holy Cross Hospital Pharmacy in Silver Spring, Maryland where I have been working with a team of amazing Pharmacists and Technicians. It was while working at the outpatient pharmacy and watching my pharmacist counsel patients that my love for patient medication education was enhanced. Being a very passionate person, one of the things that l value the most is acquiring knowledge to help people who are ignorant. Coming from a poor community full of uneducated people who do not know the importance of the medications they take and the repercussion of not taking their drugs rights, my greatest pleasure comes when am able to help them through education. I also value making relationships with people who have a positive mind, hardworking, trustworthy, kind-hearted, and reliable and are willing to help me achieve my dreams of becoming a more competent and reliable
