Do you know what Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is? Emotional Intelligence is the ability to identify and manage your own emotions and the emotions of others. It is generally said to include three skills: emotional awareness; the ability to harness emotions and apply them to tasks like thinking and problem solving; and the ability to manage emotions, which includes regulating your own emotions and cheering up or calming down other people. A lot of people know mostly about the IQ, but less people have some knowledge about EQ. The reason for this is that IQ tests are in our daily life. They make IQ tests to see the participant’s level of intelligence. They use this kind of tests mostly to separate the smart students from the others. In this way, they can focus on the students who passed the IQ tests to work with them. It means that, these kinds of students are able to do better works and they are more effective than the others. Also, we told about the differences between Intelligence Quotient and Emotional Quotient. As I said before, lot of people only knows about the IQ, but as you can see, EQ is as much as important as IQ. In other words, EQ should also be a part in our life like IQ. A person who has the best IQ cannot be perfect without a high EQ. We should take EQ serious because it is a very important part of our life! People can use it for bad things, such as manipulating people, but if we will use it for good things, we will make the life much easier to live. I strongly believe that, people who are living happy, have a controlled Emotional Intelligence. Maybe we should consider the importance of this issue. For instance, the schools can teach it in the first grades. In my opinion, this would be a big step for a better
