This quote is about being being able to balance life in a workplace with having good morals and the knowledge of how to live a good life. One thing that I love about school is learning new things about myself. At Endicott, I hope to have experiences that I have not had before and to pursue interests of mine. Figuring out something that I enjoy and can thrive at is awesome and I know that Endicott help me do that. I don’t want my experience to be a typical movie portrayal of college, I want my experience to be one that causes me to think about the way that I think and to prepare myself for the real world. I don’t completely agree with J.T. Abrams. Parents can teach you your basic manners and morals when you're little, as mine have, and those will stick with me forever. Listening to advice from wise, experienced people is always helpful too. The key word is listening to advice though, that doesn’t imply obeying it. Balancing what someone says that you may think is wise with your own conscious and what you believe is a good way to go about advice. Being open-minded is important because if you don’t step out of your comfort zone, then you will not have a holistic experience on whatever your career is. No one can tell you how to live your life, it is essentially up to yourself. I know that Endicott can educate me on how to make a living and help me make sure that I live my life to the fullest. I want to work at a job that I enjoy. Working at a job that I enjoy would definitely affect my mental health in a positive way and would contribute to my overall happiness. I know that Endicott would be able to help me get placed at a job of my liking, and at a place where I can thrive in my career. I am eager to be educated in two ways, and eager to be a part of the community at
