During my five weeks with Professor Wagner in English 102A, I have learned a lot and developed skills that I was very weak in. Over the course of five weeks, I took a few quizzes, learned about grammar and punctuation, wrote a five-paragraph paper about my education goals, I read a short story, did a literary analysis, struggled over understanding the true meaning of a thesis, I interacted with my peers through discussion sessions, and wrote a reflection paper.
All the tasks that I performed over the five-week course has helped me to become a better critical thinker, a better reader and a better writer. The course made me think, analyze and reflect on what I read; which, is very important for me to understand, since I would be writing short

I have struggled with every paper since lesson three, but I am still hopeful that my writing skills will improve. English was no longer the easy class I had remembered it to be.
I feel there were lessons that I benefited more than others; however, I feel each lesson was necessary to improve my skills as a critical thinker and a writer. The most important things that I learned from English -A is the importance of maintaining proper consistency when writing.
