Arming the Classrooms
Throughout our society that we are a part of today, one problem stands out among the rest. This problem is gun control and arming teachers inside of the classrooms to prevent school shooters from causing as much damage. However, arming teachers will not be of any help to our society because of how scared the kids will be knowing There is a firearm present, how easy it is for children to not think about gun safety and make a bad decision about one of these firearms in the classroom and the behavior of children in the school place.

Most of the children who found the gun assumed it was not real or that it was a toy but the most frightening fact was how sixteen of these boys picked up the gun and pulled the trigger. Jackman also tells us that “90% of the boys who handled the gun or pulled the trigger had previously received some sort of gun safety education” (Jackman). If children are put under the fear of knowing that their superior had the chance of containing a gun somewhere in his or her classroom they will never learn the valuable lessons that all kids learn in classrooms like pure disobedience because they are to afraid to do some action out of line and get in trouble. It would silence the voices of children around the country and leave them not learning some of the most important lessons in
