In the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet fell in love at first sight, but ends terrible for both families that lead a change in both families. They are two different people from different families that have a feud between each other of not knowing how it happened. Their love should not be stopped by the two families that hate each other and not thinking about their children’s happiness. In doing so, the hatred of both families stopped two star-crossed lovers, death of Tybalt and Mercutio in a melee that leaves Romeo banished, and the tragedy of Juliet and Romeo. Although Shakespeare talks about the tragedy of the two star-crossed lovers, there were many unnecessary problems that could have been avoided. The feud of families brought two star-crossed lovers to their grave. That the two families, the Capulet and the Montague, were involved in their love for each other making it hard for them to see each other. In one of the scene, Romeo and Juliet finds out that they are both enemies as he said “Is she a Capulet? O dear account! My life is my foe’s debt”(1.5 131-132). Finding out that Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet, that his love of his life is the enemy.
