There has been discussion if college athletes should or shouldn't be paid. they would work his butt off all day with two or sometimes three sport training sessions plus classes, homework and go to that job for a few hours late at night only getting payed $7/hour. How do you expect them to pay for all the things they need to.should college athletes get paid? Yes they have to put in about 40 hours in sports a week, and about 60 hours of school work. And on top of that they still need a job so they can afford all the things they need for school and sports.

and how do you expect them to pay for their gear if they are tired and they can't have a full time job because of all the things they have to do. this is so important to the student athletes because they are human too and they need money just like us to pay for things and there equipment is definitely not cheap.they work all day with two or sometimes three sport training sessions plus classes, homework and go to a job for a few hours. they can't have any time to sleep they will end up falling asleep in class. When they do that they will get behind farther and farther tell the point they have bad grades and are ineligible to play their sport.They make $7 an hour and they work like 2-4 hours a day that is enough to get them a meal at McDonald there is no way they are going to be able to pay for all their gear and other things they need.If the pro sports would use the money they are spending on the players they have which is outrageous they could get at least 7 college players to commit to them before they
