Pepsi needs to step up quickly, people do not take things lightly and will fight back. If Pepsi wants to fix their external relationship with their customers the best way would be to make a public statement apologizing for all of their mistakes. Virtue ethics is known as an ethical behavior that involves adhering to conventional moral standards but also to consider what someone with “good” moral would deem appropriate. The most reasonable action to help managers fix the situations with employees would be hiring a group of higher managers to go around to stores and fix problems. This could be called the ethics group, a group of higher employees to oversee any issues that may need fixed in the business. This will help to get employees on track because they know once a month someone is going to show up and check to make sure things are being done properly. That will keep employees making sure things are always done properly and if they have any questions they know they can ask the ethics group when they come in to do a check up. After all of that has been completed they need to begin on phase two to fix their internal problems. Fixing the work place can be a bit more difficult because people are now going to be stuck in their own ways of doing certain steps and making certain products and may not want to change. Pepsi must begin with meeting with their workers, once a month they need to have a training program set up that all workers must attend, this will ensure they are doing things properly. At the first meeting they will have the boss or owner of the company come into the meeting to show and ensure all employees the correct way of making all the products from beginning to end. Every month from their on out the workers will have to attend this meeting to ensure things are continuing to be done properly, that also shows them how to create any new product or method that has been added. A way to make sure all of these things have been implemented is to have that ethical group come in once a month and will report any problems to the boss that need fixing.
