Chanelle Carrasco Professor Curall ENC 0027 November 19, 2015 The Keystone Habit Of Willpower As we begin a new chapter in our lives, we begin to realize that college is a running organization but the only difference is that we are able to observe how people’s willpower is tested in this organization. Most of the time in college, students begin failing even though they succeed in high school or succeed in college than all of a sudden just drop out. In order to understand this concept, we must be able to use the techniques in a keystone habit of willpower to develop a new to routine so that we may help with other habits. The students that begin failing college even though they succeed in high school can be the type of people who take their time to analyze every single thing instead of being influence in a way that they are able to transform their work habits. Next the students that are succeeding in college then all of sudden just drop their classes are the type of people who give up to quickly instead thinking it through than acting on it. An example of this would be my friend, his name is sam, he was doing extreming well at the beginning of class when it first started. When it became more difficult that’s when I did not see him as much. I had found out that he ended up quitting because it was to much pressure for him. If he would have used the second part of keystone habits, I believe that he could have created a structure to help him with the other habits so that they could flourish. The willpower for these students would be self­ control because sometimes it’s difficult to keep trying instead of ancipating possible challenge. Also it can help with dealing with certain situations better with time instead of facing it head on. So theses students have to give it time so they do not make rational
