In order for the church to reach, connect and disciple the millennial generation, church leaders need to implement a leadership development plan for that reaches millennials. The church must be strategic to effectively reach this generation with the message of Christ. Implementing these strategies will aid the local church in effectively connecting, reaching and discipling the millennial generation for the future growth of the church. Krejcir’s article that the church must understand about casting the vision is, “A Vision cannot be written from your will, but only from His, the vision must be God's. Also it is important to remember vision propels us to move where God is taking us and requires us to stretch, learn and change to learn new skills and to do things out of their comfort zone. It is up to church leaders to empower the congregation to accept it, live it and serve in the vision God has desired for the church.
