According to the article, 3 Reasons People Over 60 Leave Your Church, many of the older generation don’t go to church because of the culture change, they no longer feel comfortable in the new church culture (2015, para. 5). Hence, transitioning to a contemporary culture can exclude the older generation from feeling part of the church. Family Life Christian Fellowship should carefully consider the impact the contemporary culture will have on the older generation church members. The transition from traditional to contemporary culture brings about technology enhancements. The younger generation appreciates technology, however to some of the older generation, technology can be a hindrance to them. According to the article, The Millennial’s Guide to the Older Generation, the older generation are not comfortable with change and find technology intimidating and frustrating (2017, para.2). Therefore, with updating technology within the church it can be a discouragement for the older church
