7 billion mouths to feed 365 days. Some of you might be thinking what does 7 billion mean? Well according to worldometers.com the 7 billion represents the population of the world. Here's another fact, there are 2.2 million farms in the United States. Ok, that's enough facts lets get right to explaining about farms and farming.
2.2 million farms dot America's rural landscape. About 97 percent of U.S. Farms are operated by by families. Farming is important because it provides food and jobs in a society.
