In the United states the average amount of kids being obese has doubled since the 1980’s. Americans tend to become diabetic as they constantly keep eating fast foods and increase weight. This is making many people have problems such as heart failure, loss of blood and especially being obese. The fast food industry has changed so much from the past century. Fast food restaurants make Americans consume bad products made loss with grease, extra sugar and lots of salt. By people being obese it has increased by so much. “If you pitch it, They will eat”by David Barboza he states “The problem of obesity is so staggering, so out of control that we have to do something”(8). The fast food industries are making some changes to find a solution for the individuals being overweight. For example, Mcdonald’s restaurants are making changes as in the way they cook such as changing the oil they cook with. Many adults have changed eating habits recently. They also should be aware of what fast foods can cause to the body. The calories people consume in the system can affect them badly, but do people really know this? Considering making a homemade meal is much healthier to eat than greasy fast foods. America has the highest percentage of being obese, with all the fat, processed starch and calories eaten. Fast foods also increase cholesterol that affects the heart in several ways. Things that can cause serious of medical problems like depression, diabetes and continue on being a bad eating habits. Most fast foods contain chemicals that reach our brain cells that can really affect adults.
