I do not think that the status of a fetus has anything to do with a woman's right to have an abortion. A fetus cannot be considered a separate person as it cannot exist outside the womb. Therefore, in my opinion I think it is the choice of a woman and no one else to dictate whether or not she can have an abortion. The rights of a bunch of developing cells, are not worth more than the rights of an actual living breathing person. Even if a fetus was alive, it does not imply the right to use somebody's else body. Just like it is legal to refuse to donate organs even if they would save someone else's life the same should be applied when speaking about a fetus and abortion.
