I’m excited for the experience I am going to receive will with you this fall. I am thrilled to meet you and be a part of your classroom and working with you and your future students. I have been in many field placements throughout my time in college and have had even more experiences working with children outside of the school system. My experience inside and outside of the classroom with children from elementary school all the way to high school has helped me become the teacher I am today. I believe that being a successful teacher comes from the way we treat our students and their parents, and not just teaching the standards but actually teaching our students. When it comes to behavior management I feel like each of my students are unique therefore, each of my students deserve a different type of behavioral style depending on what works for them. I believe that the same goes with the way I teach my students in the everyday classroom setting. I feel like it is important to find what works for my class and wrap my teaching style around them. I enjoy whole class, small group work, hands on, partner work, and individual work depending on what is needed for each lesson I teach. I believe that my strengths in the classroom consist of behavior management, having a positive classroom environment, keeping a positive attitude throughout the day even when things get tough, really want to be the best teacher I can for my students. My students matter more than anything and I think it is important that a teacher truly cares for each individual student in their classroom.
