Forced labor victims also experience terrifying conditions and experiences just like those that experience sexual exploitation. Flor Molina was a victim of forced labor in Los Angeles. It started by her sewing teacher in Mexico being approached by a trafficker and being interested in taking women to the United States for forced labor. The trafficker knew he would get a lot of women interested because a lot of them are looking for a better life. Flor Molina was one of the women interested in the opportunity but, did not know what she was getting into. Once she was transported by the trafficker to the United States. Children with their parents can study and inform themselves on how traffickers get their young victims. Once they find probable signs, they can report to the authorities to seek for help and save their children before it is too late. Children along with parents can keep an eye on the people their children interact with and their ages to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. Parents can also share this information with other adults to keep other children safe. On other hand, this solution would not work for everyone because not everyone knows all the techniques a trafficker, or “pimp” uses. Not all the tricks used by the trafficker would be in a book or website written down for people to get information fully to prevent trafficking from happening. There are times parents do not always keep track of whom their children are socializing or surrounding themselves with to make sure those outsiders are safe to be around their children. Identifying whether a person is really who they say they are can be difficult for parents along with children to determine. Traffickers, or “pimps” are always coming up with new techniques to reach their victims, even find methods to blend in with society to appear as a normal person. Overall, getting familiar with the techniques used by traffickers can save people from the trafficking
