While General Mills targets multiple generations, it especially targets the aging population who fall in the baby boomer category. Baby boomers are aging and their diets have more restrictions. Also, because of their age, they need foods that will keep them healthy and strong. The General Mills Company has specialized in cereals and other healthy foods, which are extremely appealing to the baby boomers because of minimal effort to make it. They also have foods, which are easy on the teeth because they have weaker teeth than when they were younger. General Mills also cut out the saturated fats and sodium in a lot of their products, so the food is appealing to their health needs. By having high fiber and low cholesterol foods, the company easily captures the needs of the baby boomers. 2.
