One of my biggest roles I have played during my high school career was being a DECA Vice President. This position I took on Vice President of Communications. Being V.P. of Communication was something so special to me because the previous DECA officers felt that I would be one to fulfill the duties of V.P. of communications. The impact this made of my life was very heavy because I learned a lot and gained a deeper love for DECA. I have learned how to communicate with others more, manage time wisely, and plan accordingly.
I have led many club activities such as concession stands, volunteer services, and other community led activities. I have become a great leader to many of these kids as president of our school club, S-Club. I am in very good standing academically and known for my exceptional work ethic. I have matured with each of the trials and events I have encountered that have come my way during my senior year. The skills I have gained over the course of the year will help me towards my main career goal in mind, professional.
I can contribute my knowledge of social justice and ability to be a community servant to this organization. My long-term life goal is to become a hospital owner in multiple underrepresented areas and foreign countries. Being a community servant, one can build character while helping open doors or provide opportunities for those who are less fortunate. I’ve read the many articles of the large groups of Alpha men graduating from Meharry Medical College, that have had such a huge impact on the surrounding communities by giving a helping hand when needed. It’s the small things that count and makes me eager to join the previous groups of male leaders striving to achieve their goals, which defy all odds against
Student Council performs numerous tasks around my school that hopefully improve the school and school spirit. The most important thing Student Council has taught me is: no matter how small, a good deed can go a long way. A handful of students and myself led to the founding of Spanish Club. Sadly Spanish Club isn’t an organization any more after the sponsor moved to a different position. However, my time in Spanish Club was well spent.
As the founder, I was involved in recruiting prospective members, serving as a liaison between the players, coaches, and parents, and most
By active community service, leadership roles, and hard work, I have learned the incredible importance of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service. Through these things, I have been substantially prepared by the Beta Club to serve others as I depart high school and
In high school I was a part of thirteen activities and clubs ranging from National Honor Society and other volunteering clubs to Cross Country and Track. Of these thirteen, I was an exec for five. Most of my time was devoted to my roles in Cross Country as Team Captain, Student Council as Student Body Treasurer, Science Club as Co-VP, D.A.R.E club as an officer, and being a freshman mentor. Senior year my environmental science team took second place at both Regionals and State
Throughout the years, I've realized that I enjoy extracurricular activities, especially the ones I organize. As part of that leadership development, I have highlighted as president of one
Through the experience of working as youth leader for freshman connection I have grown as a better leader. To help incoming freshman was incredible experience for me. I joined freshman connection to serve school and defiantly to get knowledge and team building skills out of it, so that it can help me make my college experience better. I think I have achieved all the goals that I wanted to through working as youth leader. Additionally, not only that but also to work on community service project on bullying has really allowed me to serve as teacher helper.
As a part of its mission statement, it offers scholarships, conventions, leadership meetings, and even community connection activities to assure its members receive the best outcome. My involvement in this club goes beyond being a member; I participate as an officer, donate my time to the community, and compete nationwide to display my skills as a leader. As a
At the age of ten being raised by minority parents was very difficult for me at the time. At the age of ten I was forced for my English and Spanish vocabulary to be very proficient due to always translating for my parents. At that age learning both languages was annoying, frustrating, and difficult; however that experience shaped me to be a proficient bilingual nurse present and gain benefits by being bilingual. The benefits where the many open job opportunities with the increase pay. This experience also assisted to raise my daughter to speak and write both languages actively although just not the way my parents forced it on me.
In my 6 years at Club, I have taken up a huge interest in advocating and listening to others point of views. I am extremely passionate about making other members Club experience as positive and life changing as possible. I think becoming a leader at Club has been a huge eye opener and has truly made me realize you have no idea what others are going through. Everyone walks in through the Club doors to the same environment, but the truth is, everyone leaves to a different home life and takes on different responsibilities. I want to make everyone feel comfortable and loved when they walk through those doors.
It would enjoy me to be President of National Honor Society and to represent our Society and school throughout the community. I have known many of you throughout my high school years and have discussed projects that can make our school a more enjoyable and friendly place for students. I want to lead our group of 52 upperlevel students through group projects in our area such as Season of Hope for Families. I have been doing research and prepairing how we could go about fundraising and helping out or community. In this fundraiser, we could help by aquiring Board games and Arts and Craft Kits.
I am writing to apply and express my interest for this opportunity to do a business management internship. After finishing high school, I want to start my career with getting an insight into the world of work as well as diving into a foreign and tempting culture. This is an outstanding opportunity to explore different working methods and to gain more capabilities and knowledge as well as a chance to broaden my horizons. I am eager to apply my skills, which I gained during prior work placements, and also determined to improve new abilities to become an efficient trainee, who is ambitious and willing to work hard.
I also love to read. However, it is really hard for me to find books that interest me. That is why I love to read so much. When I finally find a book that interests me I can’t put it down. Ever since I was little, I have been above grade level for reading.
