I am given to understand that I would be working a lot with excel preparing reports. I really hope I can make Pace Delivers extremely successful. Finally, I want to understand how a workplace really works. I acknowledge the importance of internships during my undergraduate years to gain more information about professional development, possible areas of opportunities, knowledge, and skills required to be successful in the field of management. Beyond the application, LSAT score, and Grade Point Average, who am I. I am an African American, young woman from a lower economical status. My intersectionality qualities are what help describe me but do not define me, although I have faced hardships, I have not allowed any of the adversities I have faced stop me from excelling and achieving my goals. Fifteen years ago someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and why? My response at eight years old was that I wanted to become a lawyer, because I like to argue and research things. My other reason for wanting to become a lawyer was to help keep my brothers out of trouble by being able to provide representation.
My name is Khemiga Khemacheevakul. I am currently enrolled as an international, second year student at the University of Alberta, and I am majoring in the four year Bachelor of Food Science and Technology program. As a future graduate of this program I will have a variety of job prospects that I may choose from. Examples include jobs in the food industry as a food biochemist, food microbiologist, food products inspector, food products sales representative, food scientist, or a food and beverage supervisor. Although there are many job opportunities that I will be able choose from in the future, I am interested in being a food scientist; specifically in the quality assurance or quality control areas as a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control
I would consider myself a good and hard working student. I try my best to get either a G or an E on my report card. After filling in the chart i've noticed how much talking in class can affect my mark. Looking at my mark as a whole my goal is to get a G or an E in independent work.
I am who I am today because of my personal heritage. I was born in Peru and at the age of 3 my mom and I came to the United States. Growing up I did not understand why my uncle who played a father figure role in my life, always pushed me academically, mentally, and physically to become the best I can be at a young age. In the other hand, my grandparents will call every night sounding worried about my mom and I. In addition, my mother will always tell me “today is going to be a good day” as I headed to school every morning.
The thing that motivates me to achieve in life is my church and the relationships with both my church family and to God. My church family most definitely gives me a sense of belonging, an urge to continue learning, and more than a few reasons to live. For this reason, they have, without a doubt, been the sole reason I have accomplished anything thus far, and God is the only reason I will ever succeed again. The Bible has been translated into over 100 different versions as well as into over 500 languages.
To begin this writing, I want to say I am very honored to be part of the 2022 waitlist, I see it as another opportunity to prove myself worthy of Stern. I lived in Nigeria for almost nine years, and the things I saw have had a lasting impact in my life. In Nigeria, I was surrounded by extreme poverty. Many people searched and craved for a life worth living. People, even children, were begging for money and carrying heavy baskets filled with food on their head just to get enough money to support their family.
Our society has been founded on the principles of beginning one’s life through flourishing in an education system. Building a foundation to build on as one ages has proven to be substantially beneficial, yet it is not without its advantages and disadvantages. Being a high schooler, my experience is well defined and unique compared to those who are younger to me, as they are still going through what I have passed and learned from. High school is distinctive in that it not only prepares you for the life upcoming, but creates an environment analogous to the difficulties of the modern world. As I step onto the campus, I am enclosed in a border, one that a student is not allowed to cross during the school’s operating hours, which leads to severe
What if you walked into a grocery store where price tags were missing, brands were unknown, and the lines to checkout were difficult to navigate? Now think about the last time you visited a health care professional – were these factors known to you? Health care is a service like other industries, yet we lack the transparency for how to book an appointment, compare quality, and estimate price. In order to increase my impact on the experience of health care I will need to expand my current skillset and focus on the strategy of consumer digital health.

There are countless business-oriented careers and finances. That is why my studies and professional development have been motivated with the intention of developing largely all the skills necessary to get a position in the area of logistics. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the logistics are responsible basically to manage the life cycle of a product from the time of acquisition, distribution, dispensing and delivery (2015, December). So basically, they analyze and coordinate the supply chain of a product from the supplier or manufacturer to customers.
My goals and values in life are very important to me. With them I hope to explore Physics in new avant-garde way. As well as explore places with a certain je ne sais quoi to better define the artistic part of myself. I have come from an environment where I have had to rely on myself mainly for motivation. Of course there is beauty and strength even in the most dirtiest crevices of society.
Statement of Personal Achievements It was the end of my junior year of high school that I decided to immigrate to the United States. I was motivated to come to America from Hong Kong for my education. I also aimed to broaden my perspective on life. As a new immigrant and young adult, my life completely changed within these two years.
My idea of the good life involves using the knowledge and wisdom I acquire to improve the well-being of our planet and all sentient creatures living on it. My undergraduate experience at the University of Florida would prepare me to achieve this by making me a well-rounded individual, providing me the means to achieve my goals, and helping me to communicate my ideas. While many see education as a means to an end, I value education most for its ability to shape me. I hope to use my experience at UF to deepen my perception and understanding of the world to improve my decision-making by learning from the mistakes of the past, and to enhance my opinions by learning about the views of others, especially when they contradict my own. Not only will my education at UF help me gain knowledge, but it will also train me in various ways of thinking, allowing me to better analyze life situations and make better decisions.
w certainly proud of myself. When children are asked what they “want to be” when they grow up, often the responses are a firefighter, policeman, or a doctor. In my case, I simply wanted to become a difference. I became persistent with the idea. I attended a program about computer engineering one summer at UCSC.
