The thing that motivates me to achieve in life is my church and the relationships with both my church family and to God. My church family most definitely gives me a sense of belonging, an urge to continue learning, and more than a few reasons to live. For this reason, they have, without a doubt, been the sole reason I have accomplished anything thus far, and God is the only reason I will ever succeed again. The Bible has been translated into over 100 different versions as well as into over 500 languages. By virtue of the Bible’s diversity, each person appears to interpret the Bible differently from their neighbor. Due to this, I am constantly discovering new information about God’s word. As a result, it has become a second family for me. I know that they all care for me, and will do everything in their power to help me succeed in life. Whenever I am upset or anxious about a problem or approaching deadline, I need only step foot in the door to feel instantly at peace. The smiling faces and heartfelt greetings transform me into my greater self. Additionally, my youth minister, Abbey, always has sage advice to help me overcome those obstacles. Furthermore, in a world that is rapidly shifting as I graduate and continue out into the world, I know that the church will always be there. As one of the supporters of the Wolflife Campus Ministry, my church has helped me to expedite the sense of belonging that I am sure to find at Arkansas State University. This sense of belonging has given me the audacity to reach for my dreams, while at the same time providing me with the means to accomplish them. As my church family is deeply involved in ASU, as well as the Forum Theater and other surrounding community locations, I know that I am with friends, wherever I am in the Jonesboro Community. This makes me certain that I will succeed in whatever I do, in that wherever I go, I am with
