In ten years I aspire to accomplish many of the dreams that I have set for myself. One of those dreams ties in with why I want to go to PSU. I hope to learn the skills necessary to be successful as a software developer for a company. Being a software developer means that I will be working long hours, and dedicating a lot of time to work projects. However, I see myself enjoying my job, as well as continue to learn as I go. I presume I will be working with others, cooperating and coming up with ideas, learning each other's strengths and weaknesses. Being a software developer means there will be strict deadlines, work needs to be done fast, and efficiently; however, I am prepared for functioning under those circumstances. Another dream of mine is to live near nature, where I tend to find myself calm, and focused. I anticipate I will be renting a house in the suburbs, close to the forest, where I can relax after work in peace. In ten years, I don’t see myself ready for kids, I may own a dog to prepare for the responsibility a kid would need. Kids is a huge step in life, and I would need longer than ten years to adjust for that kind of life. Despite not having kids, I may be sharing my house with someone. Someone I can connect with, share passions, and possibly be with for rest of my life. In the future, I hope to keep in touch with my family as much as possible. Family is important to me, and I will make sure I see them annually. I will have many responsibilities in the future, paying for bills, keeping a relationship, and keeping in touch with my family is just a few of them. I might have to move to another state, and experience new surroundings. It's important to prepare for the future, to plan for the unexpected. Unfortunately, life doesn’t always happen the way you plan
